This autumn, the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) will add another international scientific congress to its calendar. From 7 to 9 October 2026, the park will host the 7th NF-kB International Congress, a meeting that aims to consolidate its role as a global gathering point for the research community working on NF-kB biology and its regulators. The congress follows on from the previous NF-kB European Workshops and takes a further step towards a more international format.
The meeting will address some of the main research areas linked to NF-kB, with sessions devoted to transcriptional regulation, inflammation and immunity, development and cell differentiation, regulatory elements, solid tumours, leukaemias and lymphomas, and new avenues for therapeutic targeting. Ranjan Sen will give the opening lecture, while Neil Perkins will deliver the closing lecture.
Among the announced speakers are leading names in the field, such as Alex Hoffmann, Sonia Rocha, Anna Bigas and Guido Franzoso. of the organising and scientific committees. The congress is organised by the Hospital del Mar Research Institute (HMRIB), with Lluís Espinosa playing a leading role in its organisation. Espinosa and Laura Solé, both from HMRIB, are also members of the scientific committee.
Registration is already open, with an early-bird rate available until 31 May 2026.
