About us

What is El·lipse?

El·lipse is the website where we tell you about the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) and its centers, and we introduce you to the latest research that is being carried out and the people that work there. At the same time, it is a space for knowledge exchange and a connector between scientists from all over the world.

El·lipse, a name that refers to the shape of the PRBB building, is made by everyone at the PRBB, in order to bring you closer to our research and to explain in a clear and understandable way, all the science we are developing. An open door to one of the most important hubs specialized in biomedical research in the world.

What will you find?

We want to tell you about everything that happens at the PRBB. That means you will find an eclectic mix of ‘sciency’ things, which we classify in:

  • Research: the essence of what we do, pushing the limits of biomedicine (latest publications, new scientific projects)
  • Public engagement: everything we do, we do it for you  (outreach and citizen science initiatives, educational activities and resources)
  • Scientific life: the life that surrounds the research world (policy, training, good practice, career development, job offers)
  • Community: who we are and what we do together (social and other activities)

Who makes El·lipse?

El·lipse is published by the PRBB Communications and Corporate Relations Area. The editorial committee is formed by the communication departments of all the centers that make up the PRBB.
