Hearing a birdsong – unless you’re watching Snow White or you have your Twitter notifications turned on – is usually a sign of peace and tranquility.
And in this case it couldn’t be more true: a small common chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) decided to take a rest during one of its morning flights in the shade of the 4th floor of the PRBB, inspired by the calm currently reigning in the park.
The person who was there sharing that moment with our flying friend was Guillermo Martínez Ara, from EMBL Barcelona, who by being in the right place at the right time, has allowed us to enjoy this wonderful picture.
Thank you Guillermo! 🙂
