Filters? Leave them for masks

Almost a year has passed since masks and protective filters appeared in our lives, and since then we have not stopped using them. But these are not the only filters that have become essential in today’s society. For a few years now, photo filters have been flooding our social networks to make the images we capture authentic works of art.

But there are times when reality surpasses fiction and an untouched image can leave us speechless without the need for modifications to make it more attractive. This is the case of the photo that Neus Martínez, from the Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute (IMIM) sent us: a spectacular December sky from the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB).

Yellow, orange, purple … A fantastic color palette that reminds us that, in cases like this, it is better to reserve the filters for our masks and be surprised by the authenticity of the world around us.

Want to see your photo here? Send us your images related to science or life at the PRBB to ellipse@prbb.org.
