Albert Català sent us this photo taken from the boardroom on the 4th floor of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), along with this beautiful thought:
“There has been darkness in the room for days. It is not clear how long it has been and we do not know if during that time a lot or just a few things have happened. Now the light gets in the room again, in between the blinds”
Indeed, the Covid19 pandemic meant a sharp decrease in the number of people in the building, as well as an almost disappearance of face-to-face meetings– despite the fact that the cutting-edge research against SARS-Cov-2 carried out in the centers escalated, including tests or other voluntary activities to fight the coronavirus.
Now, little by little, we begin to recover the activity – with all the security measures that are needed- and, perhaps, to see light at the end of the tunnel … or through the blinds of the boardroom.
