Used to seeing the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) from within the building or from ground floor, this new photo of the week gives us a panoramic view of the park that we rarely see. These are the views from the Airlab, the scientific service of the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal), located near the Estació de França.
These facilities offer services that provide scientific and technical support for air quality monitoring, sampling of particulate matter (organic, inorganic and biological) from the air, and analysis of (bio)aerosols from both indoor and outdoor environments.
From our visit to the Airlab, we not only got this picture, but also a talk with Silvia Borràs, who explained how they measure the biological and chemical composition of the particles in the air.
