The Cambridge dictionary defines the word Odyssey as “a long trip or period involving a lot of different and exciting activities, especially while searching for something”.
With this concept in mind, Javier Vallve, receptionist at the Department of Experimental and Health Sciences, Pompeu Fabra University (DCEXS-UPF), sent us a photograph and the following thought:
“I’ve been on the 3rd floor for less than a month, and I can say that I have fallen in love with the uniqueness of the building.
It is like a huge ship on land.
I think that Research can be considered a type of odyssey, because of what involves: process, difficulties and discovery.”
