After two years, beach volleyball has returned to the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB). As one of the most inclusive events and bringing together more residents and former residents of the Park, this year the BVPRBB2022 has had more than 400 participants.
Organizing the championship this year has been a special challenge both because of the COVID situation and because of the new participants who were not yet familiar with the tournament. «During these months we have had extra work, but it has been worth it to see the people happy and enthusiastic», said La ORG, the group of park residents who have been organizing the PRBB Beach Volleyball championship for 21 years.
The finals of the “cracks” category of the 6×6, 4×4 and 2×2 leagues were played on July 22nd at the Somorrostro beach and the awards ceremony was held afterwards. Below you can see the final results, and in this Flickr album you can see the photos of the evening taken by Jordi Casañas.
