“In the first transpunct of a windy sunny high red eyebrow* (Nabí, Josep Carner)” … waves of light filter between the crystals and turn them into the chromatic mirror of the Barcelona sea.
Sunrise, light, photography, enjoyment… working at the PRBB!
This is how Núria Cabrera, Administrative Assistant at the Department of Medicine and Life Sciences, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (MELIS-UPF), recovers and transforms the poem “Nabí”, by Josep Carner, to accompany this striking photo taken by her colleague Willy Giralt (Service Assistant at MELIS-UPF). This intense image of the sunrise where the sky and the sea merge on the sheet of water that crowns the Auditorium of the Biomedical Research Park of Barcelona (PRBB) can do nothing but leave us speechless.
Although it is not always true that “the early bird catches the worm”, at the PRBB coming to work early can have a good reward!
Many thanks to both of you for sending us this beautiful photo.
