Originally from Scotland, Roni got her PhD in molecular biology from the University of Glasgow. Currently she is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Miguel Beato’s lab in the CRG, a collaborating professor in the UIC and a trainer. She is also a member of the CRG gender balance committee. Her research focuses on the mechanisms driving aggressive cancer and the changes which occur in the nucleus, to provide some insight into new drug discovery avenues for the future.
