Su objetivo es \u201cabordar las limitaciones actuales de la edici\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica\u201d a trav\u00e9s del desarrollo de una plataforma de escritura de genes con <strong>aplicaciones cl\u00ednicas<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cGracias al apoyo de los inversores podremos seguir desarrollando esta tecnolog\u00eda generada en la UPF con un alto potencial para curar enfermedades que hoy carecen de tratamiento\u201d<br><strong>Avencia S\u00e1nchez-Mej\u00edas<\/strong> (DCEXS-UPF) fundadora y CEO de Integra Therapeutics<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se trata de la tecnolog\u00eda <strong>Find Cut-and-Transfer (FiCAT)<\/strong>, que combina <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/es\/edicion-del-genoma-con-crispr\/\" target=\"_blank\">CRISPR<\/a> y la transposasa piggy Bac (PB), que permite insertar fragmentos grandes de ADN en el genoma de forma precisa y segura.
