{"id":19793,"date":"2021-01-12T11:11:15","date_gmt":"2021-01-12T10:11:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/?p=19793"},"modified":"2024-08-30T12:20:43","modified_gmt":"2024-08-30T10:20:43","slug":"la-inteligencia-artificial-revoluciona-el-mundo-de-la-estructura-de-proteinas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/es\/la-inteligencia-artificial-revoluciona-el-mundo-de-la-estructura-de-proteinas\/","title":{"rendered":"La inteligencia artificial revoluciona el mundo de la estructura de prote\u00ednas"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conocer la<strong> estructura de las prote\u00ednas <\/strong>\u2013 los bloques elementales que conforman las c\u00e9lulas &#8211; es esencial para comprender su funci\u00f3n, y por lo tanto para entender c\u00f3mo funcionan los organismos y c\u00f3mo y porqu\u00e9 tienen lugar las enfermedades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hay dos formas principales para descubrir la estructura de una prote\u00edna:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Experimental<\/strong>: a trav\u00e9s de cristalograf\u00eda, resonancia magn\u00e9tica, etc.<\/li><li><strong>Te\u00f3rica<\/strong>: con ordenadores, a trav\u00e9s de la comparaci\u00f3n de secuencias con prote\u00ednas conocidas, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante m\u00e1s de 25 a\u00f1os, el <strong>concurso internacional bianual <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Critical_Assessment_of_Techniques_for_Protein_Structure_Prediction\" target=\"_blank\">CASP<\/a><\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Critical_Assessment_of_Techniques_for_Protein_Structure_Prediction\" target=\"_blank\"> (Critical Assessment of protein Structure Prediction) <\/a>ha juntado a experimentalistas e investigadores te\u00f3ricos para <strong>poner a prueba los modelos predictivos <\/strong>de \u00e9stos \u00faltimos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hace apenas unos a\u00f1os, acertar el 10% de las estructuras proteicas propuestas se consideraba un \u00e9xito, y hace dos a\u00f1os el equipo de Google sorprendi\u00f3 a la comunidad cient\u00edfica al acertar un 50%.
