En vermell hi ha <strong>HNF1A<\/strong>, una prote\u00efna que ha resultat ser cr\u00edtica en la regulaci\u00f3 de les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules \u03b2 productores d&#8217;insulina. L&#8217;ADN de les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules s&#8217;ha marcat en blau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aquesta imatge de microsc\u00f2pia pertany a un nou estudi realitzat per investigadors del <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.crg.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Centre de Regulaci\u00f3 Gen\u00f2mica (CRG),<\/a> liderats per <strong>Jorge Ferrer<\/strong>. L&#8217;estudi es va centrar en HNF1A (factor nuclear hepat\u00f2cit-1 alfa), un factor de transcripci\u00f3 les mutacions del qual causen MODY3, una forma rara de diabetis d&#8217;inici preco\u00e7. Altres tipus de mutacions en aquest mateix gen tamb\u00e9 s\u00f3n freq\u00fcents i augmenten el risc de patir diabetis tipus 2 en milions de persones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Per entendre com ho fa, els investigadors van utilitzar<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/be-open-about-animal-research-day\/\" target=\"_blank\"> <\/a><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/dia-de-la-transparencia-en-lexperimentacio-animal\/\" target=\"_blank\">models de ratol\u00ed<\/a> i van desactivar HNF1A en diferents teixits i tipus de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules. Van veure que els nivells de glucosa en sang nom\u00e9s es veien afectats quan el gen s&#8217;eliminava en<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/from-stem-cells-to-functional-pancreatic-beta-cells\/\" target=\"_blank\"> <\/a><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/de-cellules-mare-a-cellules-beta-pancreatiques-funcionals\/\" target=\"_blank\">c\u00e8l\u00b7lules \u03b2 al p\u00e0ncrees<\/a>.
