Mentre que els humans triguen uns 60 dies a desenvolupar \u00f2rgans despr\u00e9s de la fecundaci\u00f3, els ratolins completen el mateix proc\u00e9s en nom\u00e9s 15 dies. La hip\u00f2tesi majorit\u00e0ria en biologia del desenvolupament suggereix que el <strong>metabolisme <\/strong>actua com un regulador universal d&#8217;aquest tempo, influint en diversos processos biol\u00f2gics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ara, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/news\/science-technology\/metabolic-activities-are-not-global-modulators-of-developmental-tempos\/\" target=\"_blank\">un estudi recent<\/a> liderat per <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/miki-ebisuya-embl-barcelona-investigar-es-un-privilegi-puc-dedicar-la-meva-vida-a-estudiar-el-que-em-fascina\/\" target=\"_blank\">Miki Ebisuya<\/a><\/strong>, cap de grup del <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.embl.es\/\" target=\"_blank\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.embl.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Laboratori Europeu de Biologia Molecular \u2013 Barcelona (EMBL Barcelona)<\/a><\/a> i ara professora de F\u00edsica de la Vida de la Universitat T\u00e8cnica de Dresden, desafia aquesta idea. La investigaci\u00f3 del seu equip indica que <strong>cap principi<\/strong>, incl\u00f2s el metabolisme, <strong>governa de manera \u00fanica el temps de desenvolupament entre esp\u00e8cies<\/strong>. En canvi, <strong>el tempo \u00e9s el resultat de la interacci\u00f3 de m\u00faltiples factors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mitjan\u00e7ant la investigaci\u00f3 del <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/lestudi-de-les-oscil%c2%b7lacions-genetiques-del-rellotge-de-segmentacio-ajuda-a-comprendre-una-malaltia-de-les-vertebres\/\" target=\"_blank\">rellotge de segmentaci\u00f3<\/a>, un proc\u00e9s molecular crucial per al desenvolupament dels vertebrats, els investigadors van examinar com els canvis metab\u00f2lics afecten el temps de desenvolupament. Van utilitzar <strong>c\u00e8l\u00b7lules iPS humanes i de ratolins <\/strong>(c\u00e8l\u00b7lules mare pluripotents indu\u00efdes), van inhibir diferents processos metab\u00f2lics (com la gluc\u00f2lisi) i van observar-ne els efectes.
