Ara, un grup del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.embl.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Laboratori Europeu de Biologia Molecular \u2013 Barcelona (EMBL Barcelona<\/a>) ha creat <strong>teixit mamari vascularitzat <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/un-xip-per-desxifrar-la-biologia-placentaria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>en un xip<\/strong><\/a><strong> per primera vegada <\/strong>i l\u2019ha utilitzat per estudiar els canvis fisiol\u00f2gics que es produeixen en resposta a les hormones del cicle menstrual presents en aquest teixit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Carmen Moccia<\/strong>, primera autora de l\u2019article, ens parla de la import\u00e0ncia d\u2019utilitzar <strong>c\u00e8l\u00b7lules espec\u00edfiques de teixit per crear el xip<\/strong>, ja que \u201cles c\u00e8l\u00b7lules endotelials tenen diferents propietats i funcions en funci\u00f3 del teixit\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Cal utilitzar c\u00e8l\u00b7lules espec\u00edfiques de teixit, en aquest cas de mama, per generar un model de teixit vascularitzat mamari.<br><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Per <strong>simular <\/strong>les diferents fases del <strong>cicle<\/strong>, van afegir <strong>concentracions variables d\u2019estrogen i progesterona<\/strong>, dues de les hormones sexuals, al teixit en xip. Despr\u00e9s, imitant <strong>l\u2019ovulaci\u00f3, <\/strong>amb alts nivells d\u2019estrogen, els microvasos augmenten de di\u00e0metre i \u00e0rea. Finalment, imitant la <strong>fase l\u00fatea<\/strong>, quan els nivells de progesterona augmenten, es produeix una regressi\u00f3 progressiva dels vasos. La funci\u00f3 de barrera d\u2019aquests vasos<em> in vitro <\/em>es veu alterada i els vasos no s\u00f3n perfusibles en aquesta etapa del cicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00abEl nostre estudi \u00e9s el primer a utilitzar una combinaci\u00f3 d&#8217;hormones a nivells fisiol\u00f2gics per imitar els nivells que trobem durant el cicle menstrual femen\u00ed adult\u00bb<br><strong>Carmen Moccia<\/strong>, primera autora de l&#8217;article (EMBL Barcelona)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Els <strong>estr\u00f2gens<\/strong> tenen un efecte multifactorial en els vasos: promouen l\u2019alliberament de subst\u00e0ncies que estimulen la vasodilataci\u00f3 i la relaxaci\u00f3 dels vasos i redueixen la producci\u00f3 de vasoconstrictors. El paper de<strong> la progesterona <\/strong>en la remodelaci\u00f3 vascular ha estat poc estudiat i provoca una remodelaci\u00f3 extensa a nivells alts, com en la fase l\u00fatea. Aquests efectes s\u2019han observat en la involuci\u00f3 mam\u00e0ria (el canvi d\u2019una mama lactant a una no lactant). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aquesta investigaci\u00f3 posa de manifest la import\u00e0ncia d\u2019utilitzar models 3D i <strong>xips microflu\u00eddics per imitar teixits espec\u00edfics<\/strong>, en aquest cas mamaris, per estudiar el <strong>paper de les hormones sexuals<\/strong> en el remodelat vascular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el futur, aquests miniteixits mamaris vascularitzats podrien utilitzar-se per <strong>estudiar <\/strong>els efectes de les hormones en els microvasos durant l<a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/els-efectes-a-llarg-termini-de-les-exposicions-prenatals\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>\u2019embar\u00e0s<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>o la posterior <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/passar-temps-a-espais-verds-podria-retardar-la-menopausa\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>menopausa<\/strong><\/a>.
