Com en totes les \u00e0rees de la ci\u00e8ncia, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/david-searls-la-medicina-personalitzada-i-les-farmaceutiques-necessiten-la-bioinformatica\/\" target=\"_blank\">l\u2019aportaci\u00f3 b\u00e0sica dels ordinadors a la recerca en biologia i medicina<\/a> \u00e9s clara: <strong>velocitat de processament i precisi\u00f3 matem\u00e0tica<\/strong>. Una tasca conceptualment tan senzilla com <strong>alinear dues seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies d&#8217;amino\u00e0cids<\/strong> seria molt tediosa (i impensable de dur a terme a gran escala) sense rec\u00f3rrer als ordinadors. M\u00e9s important encara, aquesta velocitat de processament s&#8217;ha convertit en un aliat essencial dels investigadors i investigadores davant la inabastable acumulaci\u00f3 de dades biol\u00f2giques en els darrers anys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amb ordinadors especialment programats podem <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/una-eina-bioinformatica-per-estudiar-malalties-complexes-integrant-diferents-escales-biologiques\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">creuar dades obtingudes independentment i fer emergir noves relacions entre entitats biol\u00f2giques<\/a>. Cont\u00ednuament es desenvolupen nous programes per triar, integrar i visualitzar dades, ajudant aix\u00ed a trobar r\u00e0pidament gens relacionats segons la seva seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, funci\u00f3 o expressi\u00f3, a <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/com-mantenen-els-ovocits-la-seva-funcionalitat-durant-els-anys-de-latencia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">explorar vies metab\u00f2liques <\/a>o a resumir els resultats d\u2019an\u00e0lisis cl\u00edniques. En definitiva, <strong>aquests programes ens ajuden a establir noves hip\u00f2tesis i fer avan\u00e7ar la recerca<\/strong>. I aquesta tasca \u00e9s cr\u00edtica ja que, d&#8217;altra manera, molta informaci\u00f3 de gran valor quedaria soterrada sota la muntanya de resultats que s&#8217;afegeixen a diari a les bases de dades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finalment, la bioinform\u00e0tica pot <strong>modelar <em>in silico<\/em><\/strong> (dins l&#8217;ordinador) aspectes complexos dels sistemes biol\u00f2gics a partir de components m\u00e9s senzills. Aix\u00f2 s&#8217;aconsegueix <strong>entrenant l&#8217;ordinador amb dades reals i verificant el seu progr\u00e9s, fins que les prediccions assoleixen un nivell de credibilitat acceptable<\/strong>. Un exemple cl\u00e0ssic \u00e9s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/baldo-oliva-grib-per-funcionar-les-molecules-han-de-tenir-forma\/\" target=\"_blank\">la predicci\u00f3 de l&#8217;estructura tridimensional d&#8217;una prote\u00efna a partir de la seva seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia<\/a>. La utilitat de les prediccions bioinform\u00e0tiques \u00e9s clara quan una comprovaci\u00f3 experimental \u00e9s massa complexa (o massa cara) de dur a terme. La <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/pablo-ianez-isglobal-el-que-mha-portat-on-soc-es-la-curiositat\/\" target=\"_blank\">intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial (IA)<\/a><\/strong> \u00e9s un pas m\u00e9s que en els \u00faltims anys<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/la-intelligencia-artificial-revoluciona-el-mon-de-lestructura-de-proteines\/\" target=\"_blank\"> ha revolucionat encara m\u00e9s el poder dels ordinadors per a la investigaci\u00f3 <\/a>biol\u00f2gica i la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/la-ia-que-ajudara-a-atendre-persones-amb-risc-de-suicidi\/\" target=\"_blank\">medicina<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/la-ia-que-ajudara-a-atendre-persones-amb-risc-de-suicidi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">,<\/a><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/la-ia-que-ajudara-a-atendre-persones-amb-risc-de-suicidi\/\" target=\"_blank\"> <\/a>entre moltes altres coses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evidentment, donada<strong> la interrelaci\u00f3 entre biologia experimental i bioinform\u00e0tica<\/strong>, el desenvolupament de noves metodologies experimentals \u00e9s un est\u00edmul pel desenvolupament de nous sistemes bioinform\u00e0tics. Paral\u00b7lelament, les hip\u00f2tesis constru\u00efdes a partir d&#8217;an\u00e0lisis bioinform\u00e0tiques incentiven el desenvolupament de noves metodologies experimentals.
