{"id":42639,"date":"2024-05-24T11:22:40","date_gmt":"2024-05-24T09:22:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/?p=42639"},"modified":"2024-05-24T11:22:29","modified_gmt":"2024-05-24T09:22:29","slug":"descobert-un-gen-clau-en-alguns-tipus-de-cancer-de-pulmo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/descobert-un-gen-clau-en-alguns-tipus-de-cancer-de-pulmo\/","title":{"rendered":"Descobert un gen clau en alguns tipus de c\u00e0ncer de pulm\u00f3"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upf.edu\/web\/biomed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Departament de Medicina i Ci\u00e8ncies de la vida, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (MELIS-UPF)<\/a> ha liderat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upf.edu\/web\/biomed\/inici\/es\/-\/asset_publisher\/Us0jfwFAevmx\/content\/gen_clau_progressio_i_tractament_adenocarcinoma\/10193\/maximized\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>un estudi que identifica un nou gen rellevant en la progressi\u00f3 de l&#8217;adenocarcinoma pulmonar<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> Es tracta del gen <strong>RNF144B<\/strong>. La seva baixa expressi\u00f3 s&#8217;associa a un <strong>pitjor pron\u00f2stic<\/strong> de la malaltia i a una major <strong>resist\u00e8ncia a la quimioter\u00e0pia<\/strong>. En l&#8217;estudi tamb\u00e9 han participat el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crg.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Centre de Regulaci\u00f3 Gen\u00f2mica (CRG)<\/a> i l&#8217;Institut Murci\u00e0 d&#8217;Investigaci\u00f3 Biosanit\u00e0ria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aquest gen est\u00e0 implicat en el <strong>control de la <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/un-enzim-de-la-divisio-cellular-com-a-possible-diana-terapeutica-contra-el-cancer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>divisi\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular<\/strong><\/a><strong> i de la integritat del genoma<\/strong>. \u201cSi l\u2019RNF144B falla i s&#8217;expressa de forma insuficient, en la c\u00e8l\u00b7lula es genera un caos cromos\u00f2mic durant la divisi\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular, pel qual comen\u00e7a a tenir m\u00e9s cromosomes del compte, cosa que comporta l&#8217;inici de processos cancerosos\u201d, explica <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/estudiant-el-desenvolupament-tumoral-en-ratolins-i-en-linies-cel%c2%b7lulars-dues-estrategies-convergents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ana Janic<\/strong>,<\/a> l\u00edder del Laboratori de Biologia del C\u00e0ncer del MELIS-UPF, que ha coordinat l&#8217;estudi. A m\u00e9s, si es confirma la relaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquest gen amb la resist\u00e8ncia a la quimioter\u00e0pia, podr\u00e0 utilitzar-se com <strong>un <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/descobreixen-un-nou-marcador-diagnostic-per-al-cancer-de-pancrees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>biomarcador<\/strong><\/a><strong> que ajudi a decidir el millor tractament<\/strong> per als pacients d&#8217;adenocarcinoma pulmonar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:64px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un nou membre de l&#8217;orquestra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019RNF144B \u00e9s un dels <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/investigant-el-paper-del-metabolisme-cellular-en-el-cancer-de-pulmo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gens regulats per p53<\/a>. El <strong>gen p53<\/strong> \u00e9s un gen al qual s&#8217;ha anomenat el \u2018<strong>director d&#8217;orquestra dins de la c\u00e8l\u00b7lula<\/strong>\u2019 i que est\u00e0 implicat en el 50% dels c\u00e0ncers. Actua com un guardi\u00e0 que impedeix la proliferaci\u00f3 de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules amb l\u2019ADN danyat o que es divideixen err\u00f2niament. Ho aconsegueix <strong>activant m\u00e9s de 300 gens <\/strong>que tenen diferents funcions implicades en el cicle cel\u00b7lular. Aquests gens s\u00f3n<a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/analitzen-el-paper-dun-gen-diana-de-p53-en-la-proteccio-contra-el-cancer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> dianes habituals d&#8217;estudis sobre el c\u00e0ncer<\/a> i se\u2019n coneix la funci\u00f3 de diversos d&#8217;ells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tanmateix, no es coneixia fins ara la funci\u00f3 espec\u00edfica de<strong> RNF144B. <\/strong>S\u00ed que se sabia que \u00e9s <strong>un supressor tumoral<\/strong>, perqu\u00e8 els ratolins sense aquest gen desenvolupen r\u00e0pidament un tipus de c\u00e0ncer anomenat limfoma. Aix\u00f2 va portar l&#8217;equip investigador a preguntar-se si estava implicat en altres tipus de c\u00e0ncers, si era un supressor tumoral tamb\u00e9 en humans i quina era la seva funci\u00f3 en el control de la carcinog\u00e8nesi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cCon\u00e8ixer quines altres prote\u00efnes interactuen amb RNF144B per mantenir el funcionament cel\u00b7lular adequat podria obrir noves vies per modular la seva activitat o aprofitar la seva funci\u00f3 en el tractament de certs tipus de c\u00e0ncer\u201d<\/p><p><strong>Etna Abad<\/strong>, MELIS-UPF &nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S&#8217;ha observat que, tant en c\u00e8l\u00b7lules de ratol\u00ed com humanes, l&#8217;alteraci\u00f3 de l&#8217;expressi\u00f3 de RNF144B <strong>produeix adenocarcinoma<\/strong>. Aix\u00f2 succeeix encara que el gen p53 no estigui alterat. A m\u00e9s, tot i que les alteracions de l&#8217;expressi\u00f3 de RNF144B <strong>no s\u00f3n tan freq\u00fcents com les de p53, s\u00f3n molt importants<\/strong> perqu\u00e8 produeixen un pitjor pron\u00f2stic d&#8217;aquest tipus de c\u00e0ncer de pulm\u00f3.&nbsp;A m\u00e9s, s&#8217;ha identificat la funci\u00f3 del gen RNF144B com <strong>a regulador cromos\u00f2mic durant <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/descobert-el-mecanisme-per-a-la-separacio-de-les-cellules-durant-la-divisio-cellular\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>la divisi\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular <\/strong><\/a><strong>i reparador de l&#8217;ADN.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<strong>El proper pas en la nostra recerca<\/strong>&nbsp;implica continuar explorant com l\u2019expressi\u00f3 d\u2019aquest gen influeix en la resposta a diversos tractaments cl\u00ednics. Tot i que entenem el paper fonamental que exerceix, encara estem investigant el mecanisme cel\u00b7lular exacte mitjan\u00e7ant el qual RNF144B interv\u00e9 en la regulaci\u00f3 de la divisi\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular i la reparaci\u00f3 de l\u2019ADN.
