I aquesta \u00e9s una de les q\u00fcestions que intenten resoldre des del <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/no-sabem-per-que-hi-ha-gens-amb-funcions-multicel%c2%b7lulars-en-organismes-unicel%c2%b7lulars\/\" target=\"_blank\">Multicellgenome lab<\/a> de l\u2019<a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ibe.upf-csic.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Institut de Biologia Evolutiva (IBE: CSIC-UPF)<\/a>, liderat per<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/inaki-ruiz-trillo-obte-25-milions-deuros-per-buscar-la-baula-perduda-de-levolucio-dels-animals\/\" target=\"_blank\"> I\u00f1aki Ruiz-Trillo<\/a> i on treballa la <strong>Michelle Leger<\/strong>, protagonista del segon episodi de la <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/el-prbb-renova-temporades-dels-seus-podcasts-absolutos-y-reltivos-i-la-mare-de-la-ciencia\/\" target=\"_blank\">nova temporada d\u2019<strong>&#8216;Absolutos y Relativos&#8217;<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Per a aix\u00f2, se centren a estudiar els <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/els-altres-eucariotes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>protists<\/strong><\/a>, un grup molt divers d&#8217;\u00e9ssers unicel\u00b7lulars al qual moltes vegades es denomina com a \u00abcalaix de sastre\u00bb. Perqu\u00e8, tot i que s\u00f3n organismes eucariotes, la seva classificaci\u00f3 \u00e9s for\u00e7a complexa al no ser ni plantes, <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/llum-sobre-la-separacio-evolutiva-danimals-i-fongs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ni animals<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/llum-sobre-la-separacio-evolutiva-danimals-i-fongs\/\">,<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/llum-sobre-la-separacio-evolutiva-danimals-i-fongs\/\"> ni fongs<\/a>. I tot i que en els \u00faltims 6 anys s&#8217;han fet aven\u00e7os en la seva classificaci\u00f3, encara queda molt per descobrir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u00abEl que m\u00e9s em fascina d&#8217;estudiar els protists \u00e9s tot el que ens queda per aprendre\u00bb <\/em><br><em><strong>Michelle Leger<\/strong><\/em> (IBE)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La feina principal de la Michelle se centra a estudiar l&#8217;<strong>apoptosi<\/strong>, el proc\u00e9s de la <strong>mort cel\u00b7lular programada<\/strong>. Tot i que aquest proc\u00e9s nom\u00e9s \u00e9s present en animals, s&#8217;han descobert alguns gens d&#8217;aquest proc\u00e9s en protists. Aix\u00f2 fa sospitar la comunitat cient\u00edfica que probablement puguin existir algunes formes de mort programada en organismes unicel\u00b7lulars relacionades amb la superviv\u00e8ncia de les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules, per exemple, davant la infecci\u00f3 per virus. Aix\u00ed doncs, en el seu dia a dia la Michelle analitza si les prote\u00efnes fetes per aquests gens en tots dos tipus d&#8217;organismes tamb\u00e9 comparteixen funcions en tots dos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A m\u00e9s la Michelle ens explica que ella aposta per la <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/per-que-es-important-la-diversitat-en-ciencia\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>diversitat <\/strong>i la inclusi\u00f3 en la ci\u00e8ncia<\/a>: \u00abla ci\u00e8ncia moderna \u00e9s una cosa que nom\u00e9s es pot aconseguir amb cient\u00edfics i cient\u00edfiques treballant entre ells, junts.
