L&#8217;altra \u00e9s la micro, mirant\u00a0<strong>cap endins<\/strong>, cap als diminuts gens, i comparant tamb\u00e9 la seva variaci\u00f3 entre esp\u00e8cies. Tant una aproximaci\u00f3 com l&#8217;altra han de fer front a\u00a0<strong>reptes tecnol\u00f2gics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Per la m\u00e9s macro, el personal cient\u00edfic ha desenvolupat el <a href=\"https:\/\/ca.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Telescopi_espacial_Hubble\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Telescopi Espacial Hubble<\/a> que, en \u00f2rbita al voltant de la Terra, evita la distorsi\u00f3 provocada per l&#8217;atmosfera terrestre.<\/p>\n<p>Per la m\u00e9s micro, fa anys que s&#8217;utilitzen programes inform\u00e0tics que comparen seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies d&#8217;ADN o de prote\u00efnes. Aquesta t\u00e8cnica, anomenada\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alineamiento_m%C3%BAltiple_de_secuencias\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>alineament m\u00faltiple de seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies (MSA)<\/strong><\/a>, cerca similituds i difer\u00e8ncies entre les seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies biol\u00f2giques de diverses esp\u00e8cies per <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/la-paleoproteomica-ens-transporta-a-fa-2-milions-danys-i-resol-el-misteri-dun-simi-gegant-extinct\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">desxifrar quant temps fa que dues esp\u00e8cies van divergir<\/a> i predir com certs canvis espec\u00edfics a un gen o prote\u00efna poden afectar la seva funci\u00f3. Ens ha perm\u00e8s avan\u00e7ar molt en el coneixement de la <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/desxifrant-el-mosaic-genetic-dels-darrers-8-000-anys-a-la-peninsula-iberica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nostra hist\u00f2ria evolutiva<\/a>, i de la nostra relaci\u00f3 amb altres esp\u00e8cies, per\u00f2 t\u00e9\u00a0<strong>les seves limitacions a l&#8217;hora de comparar grans nombres de seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies<\/strong>; el l\u00edmit ha sigut durant molt de temps 100.000 seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>L&#8217;alineament m\u00faltiple de seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies (MSA) permetia fins ara comparar fins a 100.000 seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies d&#8217;ADN, de diferents esp\u00e8cies. Imatge de Miguel Andrade, CC BY-SA 3.0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><b>De 100.000 a 1,4 milions<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Ara, un equip d&#8217;investigadors del <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crg.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centre de Regulaci\u00f3 Gen\u00f2mica (CRG)<\/a>, liderats per <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/bioinformatics-for-dummies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cedric Notredame<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crg.eu\/en\/news\/scientists-build-hubble-space-telescope-study-evolution-life-through-genome-sequences\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">han desenvolupat un algorisme molt m\u00e9s eficient<\/a> que\u00a0<strong>permet comparar a la vegada 1,4 milions de seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies<\/strong> &#8211; 10 cops m\u00e9s del que es podia fins el moment. Com m\u00e9s seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies puguin comparar-se alhora, m\u00e9s enrere en el temps podem anar.<\/p>\n<p>Les noves t\u00e8cniques de seq\u00fcenciaci\u00f3 ens permeten seq\u00fcenciar m\u00e9s i m\u00e9s genomes; per exemple, el\u00a0<strong>projecte\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.earthbiogenome.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Earth BioGenome<\/a>\u00a0preten seq\u00fcenciar i catalogar el genoma de tota la diversitat d&#8217;organismes eucariotes de la Terra &#8211; uns 1,5 milions<\/strong> de seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies. Ara, aquesta nova t\u00e8cnica desenvolupada al CRG ens permetr\u00e0 comparar-les entre elles per <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/no-sabem-per-que-hi-ha-gens-amb-funcions-multicel%c2%b7lulars-en-organismes-unicel%c2%b7lulars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">desxifrar les seves relacions i hist\u00f2ria evolutiva<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hi ha una gran quantitat de <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/linformacio-oculta-en-el-genoma-huma-de-la-funcio-a-levolucio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8216;mat\u00e8ria obscura&#8217; en biologia<\/a> que encara no hem identificat, tant en el nostre genoma com en el d&#8217;altres organismes que, encara que aparentment irrellevants, poden tenir un paper fonamental en la promoci\u00f3 de <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/la-salut-del-planeta-es-la-salut-de-lhome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la salut humana i la del nostre planeta<\/a>, com el <a href=\"https:\/\/ellipse.prbb.org\/ca\/francisco-j-m-mojica-estic-molt-orgullos-dhaver-estat-part-de-la-revolucio-de-crispr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">descobriment de CRISPR<\/a> en les arquees&#8221;, conclou Cedric. &#8220;El nostre desenvolupament podr\u00e0 ajudar a analitzar els genomes amb m\u00e9s detall, a trobar les agulles al paller dels genomes de la vida.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un grup de recerca del CRG ha desenvolupat una nova t\u00e8cnica per comparar 1,4 milions de seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies d&#8217;ADN a la vegada.
